@mayor haha, this is similar to what I did. I bought a cheap guitar strap, wove a long strap on an inkle loom, dismantled the guitar strap hardware and reassembled it with the new strap.

are you going to make your own hardware?

@twistylittlepassages yeah, I was being grumpy… hardware is always the catch for one-off stuff like this! Stores like Joann often don’t have quite what you’re looking for and then you’re looking at buying 10+ at a time from a specialty supplier (although Etsy can be good for that, lots of notions resellers.)
